Goodbye 2020 | Zoe Hailey | Recycled Elements

Welcome to 2021 and my blogpost using up some of the many left-over Christmas elements from recent festivities. 

For this months theme I have used Christmas gift tags as the basis for my page creating a layout on black cardstock. I really wanted to maintain the texture of the ribbon so I have tried not to flatten the gift tags too much. I re-used tissue paper from gifts too, to create layers behind my bramble fox title and photo. 

I may have gone a little star crazy, using the whole pack of Bramble Fox perspectives as well as the tiny silver star table confetti that we had at our New Years Eve Pyjama party! 

I love the fact this layout documenting our very different New Years Eve has physical elements from that day and recent days on the page. 

I added some additional splatters of silver using the Winsor & Newton drawing ink, which is absolutely gorgeous to include in scrapbooking pages.
