I have been playing with this months cutfile available to download free here on the blog.
For the background of my layout I used the cutfile as a stencil and sprayed through it with my Craftwell Ebrush tool and copic markers. This gives a lovely soft rainbow effect with no running or muddy colours.
My photo was taken at a local nature reserve and the Mind the Scrap August kit was perfect for it. They are a UK based scrapbook kit club you can find them here. www.mindthescrap.co.uk
I layered paper from the kit along with some tissue for a softer look behind my photo and distressed the edges.
A journaling card with a swan on was the perfect embellishment from my kit. I fussy cut it out and layered it over a shaker circle I made filled with sequins from Lucy's Cards https://www.lucys-shop.com/
I added my title to the top corner layered on to a tag so it had the dimension of the other two clusters and didn't become lost on the page.
I added a few sequins and gems as well as two black hearts to tie in with the black on the swan. A few splashes of gold Color Shine and my layout was complete.
You can check out the process video here.
Have a scrappy day :)
