Happy Together | ScrappyNerdUK (Claire) | Stamping

Hey friends,

So this months theme is stamping. I love using stamps and think that they are so versatile to use but often get overlooked.

For my layout I decided to create a background paper with some stamps. I used all the heart stamps from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio More Than Words collection and teamed this up with the Midnight collection from CVS also.

I simply cut a 1/2 inch strip from each side of my white card stock and matted this onto some patterned paper to give it a border. I do this especially when using white cardstock to help contain the whole layout.

Next I set about stamping all over the white cardstock. I chose to use black ink only for this as I really wanted the stark contrast and wanted the black to compliment my title (which is also black)

I added 4 stamps onto my acrylic block and stamped them all at the same time to speed up the process. I then removed all of the stamps and added them individually to the stamping block and stamped them in areas that were a little sparse.

I then decided to embellish vertically down the centre of the page. I added in chipboard elements, die cuts and finished it all off with a few stickers. 

There was a lot of white space on this layout and I managed to fill it with a little help from my stamping friends!
